Fantasy Architecture Mix and Match Kit

Download architecture_1.zip (39k - 23 objects) for all common PCs (Mac and Windows)
You should also save these pictures for file name reference.
For extra ornamental detail, there is part 2 of this kit.

Seven hexagonal Spire tops in DXF format, for use with the Hexagonal Column in the Object Presets Menu on the Create Palette. Error - the name of the model on the top right is "hexagon-bulb3.dxf"

The models can be re-scaled for a different look.

Four ledges, to add variety to the building structures. Again, use with the hexagonal column preset. The spire tops are not included in the ledge models.

Three ridged roofs with matching gable ends. You will need to scale the gables down a little to match the roofs - it's because of the way Bryce tries to match import sizes to its internal grid.

And finally, some arches and windows. Use them in walls made from cubes. Front ("outside"), back ("inside") and the rest of each model can be textured separately.

In Bryce 2 or later, import the models from the File menu directly into your scene. They may require smoothing. Smothing angles between 10 and 13 degrees work fine. With some of the models you may lose the sharp edges if you go much higher. Also, they are low polygon models and high angles can distort them. Low polygon means you can build Fantasy Cities with hundreds of roofs!!!
They all have under 300 polygons, most of them 200 or less.

For variety, use them with the Extra Primitives, also available on this site.
And now for part two...
