I decided to collect all the bits and pieces I make for my work in Bryce and to publish them eventually on a low-cost CD-ROM. But for now many of them are free for you to download. Choose from the index to the left and help yourself.

Most of these models, materials and textures are fairly simple and ordinary and mainly designed to save time spent on twiddling and tweaking, and many of them will be sort of half-finished "development versions". But there'll also be the occasional unusual treat. The CD, not due until maybe mid-2001, will contain many more sophisticated and "polished" items. After all, I'll be looking for payment...
Many of the models are in the native Bryce Object format (.obp) and can be imported into the "Create" Palette. There will also be other formats which can be used in many other programs: mainly 3D Studio (.3ds) because of the relat5ively small file sizes and Autocad Drawing Exchange (.dxf) for sharp-edged low-polygon models. You will need to import them and convert them to .obp through the "File" menu (which usually takes a little longer if the models are complex). On the CD I will try to use mainly those "universal" formats for a broader appeal to a wider audience. Textures will be in TIFF format. And there'll be no "Mac Only" or "PC Only" files (and anyway, what is my Mac if it isn't a PC...?).

Bryce Novices may find these downloads especially useful, and I urge them to check out the link to Brycetech on the bottom of each page of Bryce Alive Downloads.I don't believe there is a more complete Bryce Learning Site anywhere.
